31.07.2024
Special equipment designed for ironing large sizes of laundry is an ironing roller for laundry. The equipment is in high demand in HoReCa establishments, health and children's institutions, where regular replacement of a large amount of linen is required.
The ironing roller works as follows.
- The laundry is placed on the tray.
- The tray heats up, the laundry is stretched by a roller, as a result, wrinkles and irregularities are smoothed out.
- The processed laundry is sent to the receiving compartment.
Modern models of laundry ironing rollers are equipped with temperature control systems, can change the speed of operation, and have reliable protection against overheating.
How to choose the equipment
When choosing an ironing rink for a laundry room, it is important to consider several key factors.
- Efficiency. Determine how much laundry you plan to iron in an hour. Choose a solution with a margin of performance to avoid overloads.
- The size of the ironing area. Make sure that the width of the shaft meets your needs. Models with a shaft width of 1000 – 1500 mm are suitable for small volumes, and up to 2000 mm for large volumes.
- Temperature. Pay attention to the maximum heating temperature, which should be at least 180°C. This will effectively iron different types of fabrics.
- Processing speed. It varies from 1 to 5 meters per minute depending on the type of fabric and its humidity.
- Connection type. Choose the model suitable for your power supply (220V or 380V).
