LANADOL for wool

LANADOL for wool
22/05/2013
Thanks to KROISLER's preparations and technologies, almost the entire range of wool products supplied to dry cleaners can be processed using aqua cleaning technology. LANADOL. The key to a successful result is strict adherence to processing technology. Let's take a closer look at the aquachist of woolen items.

As a rule, the "indications" for aquachist are:
  • extensive water leaks;
  • extensive stains from various drinks;
  • sweat congestion;
  • the presence of a specific odor;
  • extensive protein spots;
  • the presence of non-removable fittings and finishes that are unstable to organic solvents.
First of all, you should carefully sort the products, separately sorting things from similar materials, colors and textures. It is important to remember that a wool coat and a cashmere jumper are parts of different bookmarks. It is necessary to take into account the density and weight of the materials, as this affects the mechanics inside the drum, as well as the duration and effectiveness of drying.

After forming the batch, the products are carefully inspected to determine the degree and nature of contamination. Special attention should be paid to greasy spots. On wool products with a soft and loose structure, as well as angora and cashmere, local stripping is not recommended. If it is unavoidable and in order to avoid the formation of a "nadir", you can clean the product with undiluted LANADOL AVANT using a soft sponge, avoiding strong mechanical impact. And in other cases, it is better to clean with a brush with a non-rigid pile.
If local cleaning is unacceptable, as well as if there is extensive contamination, when almost the entire thing needs to be cleaned, LANADOL AVANT can be used as an "activator" of an aquachist (by analogy with PRESORB CLIP dry cleaning) in the first bath with a dosage of 3-5 ml / liter of working solution.
Pre-stain removal before aquachist is usually not carried out. For local removal of specific stains, it is recommended to use DEPRIT stain-removing preparations (a set of 6 different chemicals). It should be noted that alkaline preparations can destroy the wool fiber and negatively affect the fiber structure, therefore, the effect of alkalis should be minimized, as well as mechanical effects.
After stripping and stain removal, the products are placed in an aquachist machine. Cashmere and angora products should not be placed in bags. The load factor should not exceed 50% of the loading capacity. After downloading, select the LANADOL SENSITIVE WOOL program.

This program consists of only 2 baths. Washing with minimal mechanical impact with a dosage of LANADOL ACTIVE at the rate of 5 ml / liter of solution. LANADOL ACTIVE acts as a detergent, while protecting wool fibers from the negative effects of water. The next bath is an appretion with a dosage of LANADOL APRET, which protects the fibers during drying. The final spin should be performed at maximum G-factor in order to extract the maximum amount of moisture from the products.
After unloading, the products are sent to dry. Drying is carried out in a drying drum at an inlet temperature of 80 ° C for 4 minutes. Such drying is necessary for simultaneous removal of excess residual moisture. Subsequent drying depends on the properties of the product itself. Products made of mixed fibers can be dried in a drum at a temperature not exceeding 40 °C. It is better to dry products without lining and rigid shape in a horizontal position, or by weight, if the product is not heavy. Complex items are dried on hangers, pre-"inflated" on a mannequin. Products made of boucle and wool of a loose structure should be dried completely on a steamer.
Boucle and loose wool products are more susceptible to shrinkage than all the others. Therefore, they should be given maximum attention.
After drying, the products are sent for finishing.
