We'll say a word about the water separator.…

The solvent cleaning process in the water separator is often neglected, although they are of paramount importance for maintaining proper hygienic condition of the solvent and the machine. Sometimes it is overlooked that the water separator (some types of machines may have several of them) plays an important role in ensuring a neutral smell of things being cleaned.
In the climatic conditions of Central Europe, a typical mixed batch of clothes has a humidity of about 5%, which is due to the moisture contained in textiles. As things "dry out" during the cleaning cycle, this moisture remains in the water separator of the machine and leaves the system in the form of condensate. Several liters of contact water per day in some cases provide filtration of several hundred liters of solvent per day. Even though this contact water looks crystal clear, the dissolved contamination level of these few liters can be very high.

To ensure the constant cleanliness of the water separator, which often involves several stages, we recommend regularly draining the water phase and rinsing the separator every week with 2-3 liters of fresh water after the contact water is drained. Many machines are equipped with a small funnel with a manual valve mounted above the water separator. Fresh water must be added slowly for 2-3 minutes after the machine is turned off. The fresh water is separated from the solvent, passes through several water separators for about 10 minutes and then enters the safety water separator.
This maintenance operation allows you to clean the conductivity sensors at the bottom of the water separator, as well as keep its sight glass clean. Foreign odors that could remain from textiles were mixed with steam or appeared at the end of the distillation process, partially or even mostly dissolved in the aqueous phase of the water separator and, thus, are once again separated from the solvent. Items that have been cleaned have a fresher fragrance without foreign impurities.
If the cause of the unpleasant odor is the machine itself, repeated application of this measure in combination with solvent distillation will significantly improve the situation in 1 or 2 days. If the water separator is serviced regularly, this problem will cease to occur at all.

Adding funds PERAMON after each cleaning of the distiller, it allows you to slightly "shift" the pH of the solvent to the alkaline side, ensuring an optimal pH value. At the same time, substances with a strong odor bind in the distiller, which avoids corrosion of machine parts and coolers.
We recommend regular dry cleaning use PERAMONE when servicing dry cleaning machines, regardless of the type of solvent used in them.
PERAMONE for the care of solvents, machines and components ensures the maintenance of proper hygienic condition of machines and avoids unpleasant odors.
